Nov. 23 - St. Adalberts Harvest Dinner: 4-8 p.m. St. Adalberts Church, 3315 St. Adalberts Road, Rosholt. $18 for ages 13 & over, $10 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and younger. Menu includes: homemade chicken soup, baked chicken, Nueske's ham, kielbasa & sauerkraut, stuffing, potatoes, gizzard gravy, corn, squash, cranberry relish, buns, pies, bars, coffee, and milk.

Nov. 30 - Birnamwood's Berry Merry Holiday Kickoff: 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Chet & Emil's, 388 Main Street and The Matsche Center, Railroad Street, Birnamwood. Craft/vendor fair, raffles, Santa & Mrs. Claus, kids crafts, 6 p.m. Holiday parade on Main Street followed by community tree lighting, 4 p.m.-sold out Chili/Soup Supper, music from 7-11 p.m. with Lovin Country. Event hosted by Birnamwood Polka Days, Plover Valley 4-H, and village of Birnamwood. Dec. 7 - Holiday Faire presented by The Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools & Central Sands Community High School: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tomorrow River Community Charter School at the Central WI Environmental Station, 10186 County Road MM, Amherst Junction. Entrance Fee: $2 person, $5 per vehicle. Artisan vendors, crafts for kids, musical performances, hot soup and treats, kids-only store.
Dec. 7 - Tomorrow River Christmas Craft Show: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Jensen Community Center, 487 N Main Street, Amherst. Admission is $2.
Dec. 7 - Community Gnome Hunt for Kids: Peace Lutheran, 293 South Main Street, Amherst. Collect a map that will help you find all the silly gnomes scattered in the center of the village. When you find all the gnomes, bring them to the community pantry, TRACK, at Peace Lutheran to collect your prize. Maps can be picked up anytime after 8 a.m. at Peace Lutheran or at the Amherst Post Office on the day of the bake sale.
Dec. 8 - Holiday Fest 2024: 2 p.m. Amherst High School Gym, 357 N Main Street, Amherst. This is a fundraiser concert for the Music Department which helps offset costs for Solo & Ensemble, guest clinicians, field trips, and music camps. Refreshments will be served after the concert, including cookies, holiday treats, punch, and coffee. Tickets - Adults: $7, Senior Citizens/Students - $5, Children 4 & under: Free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Amherst High School office until Thursday, Dec. 5. After that, available at the door.
Dec. 9 - Rosholt School District Music Department Winter Choir Concert: 2 p.m. & 7 p.m. Rosholt High School Auditorium, 346 W Randolph, Street, Rosholt.
Dec. 12 - 7th Annual Taste of Rosholt: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Rosholt Lions Camp Dining Hall, 3834 County Road A, Rosholt. Includes hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and a selection of local beers and wines. Tickets for the event are limited. All proceeds from the event will directly support year-round programming at the Club's Rosholt Extension. Dec. 19-21 - It's A Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play: 7-9 p.m. Sentry Theater, 1800 North Point Drive, Stevens Point. Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) presents It's A Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play, based on the story, "The Greatest Gift," by Philip Van Doren Stern, adapted by Joe Landry.
