Electrical Safety Poster Contest
CWEC Invites Third Graders to Enter Electrical Safety Poster Contest
Third grade students who have parents who are members of Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative (CWEC) have the opportunity to submit an original poster that supports electrical safety and win prizes. The contest is sponsored by Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association (WECA).
All who enter and meet the rules and regulations of the contest will have a chance to win local and state-level prizes.
Local Prizes:
1st Place: $25 gift card courtesy WECA & $25 check courtesy CWEC for a total of $50
2nd Place: $15 check courtesy CWEC
3rd Place: $10 check courtesy CWEC
State-Level Prizes:
The three winning local entries will also be submitted to the state contest, for a chance to win state-level prizes.
1st Place: Chromebook
2nd Place: $100 Gift Card
3rd Place: $75 Gift Card
How to Submit A Poster For The Contest
Third-grade students from the CWEC service area should submit their poster entry to CWEC by April 30, 2024. Posters can be dropped off at our Rosholt headquarters at 10401 Lystul Road, or mailed to PO Box 100, Rosholt, WI 54473.
Contest Rules:
- Free entry
- One entry per third grade student (Original drawing; artwork will not be returned to the participant)
- The poster must be themed around Electrical Safety
- No computer generated images will be accepted
- Posters should be at least 8.5x11 inches, but not larger than 11x14 inches
- Entries must include completed entry form which can be downloaded here: Poster Contest Entry Form
- Student's name must be written on the back of the poster
- Entries must be submitted to CWEC no later than April 30, 2024
