SHOP LOCAL YEAR-ROUND

To help promote the many great small businesses that are located in Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative’s service area we are using this page to share information about these local businesses. 

By providing this information it is our hope that we help shine a light on local businesses that area residents may not have been aware of.

Business profiles will periodically be added to this Shop Local Year-Round page.

“Local businesses are owned and operated by our neighbors. When you shop local, you’re making a personal investment in your neighborhood and community,” said Brenda Mazemke, manager of Member Relations for CWEC. “Local businesses often purchase from other area businesses, and are more accountable to their communities and donate back to their local communities.”

If you own a local business in the CWEC territory and would like that business to be included on this page, email Bert Lehman at Bert.Lehman@cwecoop.com.

In addition to business profiles, we have also added an “Upcoming Community Events” page. This is accessible from the Shop Local Year-Round page, and includes a list of events, such as community events, charity events, government announcements and business events, in communities within the CWEC service area. The business events included in the list will include Chamber of Commerce events, educational seminars, open houses, and special guest appearances.

To populate this list of upcoming events we will be reliant on our members to submit information about upcoming events so we can get them on the list. It is free to have an event listed on the Upcoming Community Events page, but CWEC reserves the right to refuse listing any event.
